ISBT

International Society of Blood Transfusion, a Netherlands-based international blood banking organization whose mission is “Facilitating knowledge about transfusion medicine to serve the interests of donors and patients.” ISBT serves the international blood banking community in many ways, including keeping the official names and groups of blood group antigens and systems, publishing one of the main transfusion medicine journals (Vox Sanguinis), and holding cool conferences in great locales!
