Osler Blood Bank 2010
If you are thinking of attending the Osler Institute Pathology Review Course and are wondering whether or not I will be giving the blood bank lectures, this page will give you information about my schedule for 2010.
I have been lecturing for the Osler Institute Pathology Review Course since the spring of 1996. Doing the blood bank lectures is one of the truly great joys of my life! I have interacted with literally thousands of pathology residents (as well as pathologists looking for a general review) over that time. As near as I can tell, there have been approximately 40 courses given since I started, and I have, through 2009, missed only two of them.
In 2010, however, I will only be lecturing at two of the four Osler Pathology courses, specifically, at the spring course in Los Angeles from March 14-20 and at the fall course in Tampa from October 3-9. That means that I will not be at the April 4-10 Philadelphia course or at the May 9-15 Tampa course.
Look, I'm not arrogant enough to believe that any of you will change your plans based on my schedule, but I just wanted to give you fair warning of when I will and won't be at the individual courses, in case you care! My current plan is to be at all of the courses in 2011.
