The Transfusion Reaction Workup is something that all Blood Bankers should be well familiar with.
When clinical signs and or symptoms point toward a possible reaction, several things should be done in essentially all situations.
As with many things in medicine, transfusion reactions are usually identified with several screening tests, then are confirmed with some other tests. The breakdown on these follows.
